When I balance the cost of work clothes, lunches, gas, time away and work stress vs staying at home and being the one to raise my kids, it was a no brainer. We waited to have kids until we were financially stable and then got blessed with twins. Yes, formula, wipes, diapers= expensive, but being the one to share everything with my girls=priceless. I do odd jobs and hubby takes OT when he can. I clip coupons, and I bargain shop. We vacation, and no one wants for a thing!!! Daycare times two is horrific. Everyone has to do what works best for them though. If you can last until school age on one income….

They were 28 week preemies so there was no way we were letting anyone else care for them then and also the cost of daycare was ridiculous. We both feel it was the best decision and are so happy with how things turned out. We make sacrifices for sure, but feel our children are worth it. They are happy, well-adjusted kids and I look back with no regrets.
