Happy Mother’s Day, twin mamas! Mother’s Day is right around the corner and we wanted to formally wish this amazing community a very Happy Mother’s Day! We want to honor all the amazing twin mom’s in this community. When we sat around as a team in our weekly meeting recently we decided that the best way to honor this wonderful community would be to share what you all (and us, too) call the best part of being a mom. Without further ado, here is what our Twiniversity fans have to say about being a twin mom this Mother’s Day. “Having the opportunity to see my girls growing up together and seeing how they love each other. It’s such a blessing to be a twin mom! The hard days can’t compare to the double snuggles, double kisses, and double the hugs. Twins are a blessing, what a joy it is to be a twin mama!” Ashley T. “Their love for each other.” Anna S. “Our garbage is stacked with the stinkiest diapers, our living room is covered in a thousand toys, but our home is filled with contagious laughter and I wouldn’t have it any other way!” – Ashley A. “When they laugh. It fills me with absolute joy. Especially if they’ve set one another off and just can’t stop laughing. They are 7 now and this is something that makes me smile.” Becca W. “When they stare at me, play together, and giggle with each other makes me happy.” Nafia M. “Watching the special connection between them. It has to be such a unique experience to grow up with a sibling that is the exact same age. They may fight sometimes but they really are best friends.” Heather S. “Watching them play together with their older brother. There is never a quiet moment. They are 20 months old and still love to curl up together on my chest.” Annmarie S. “Watching them learn and grow together. They learn how to resolve conflict with each other. They help each other when one doesn’t know or understand something. I realize all siblings can do this but twins have a special connection and ability to understand each other. They each have their own strengths. Plus, they are best friends! I love to see that!” Sarah C. Happy Mother’s Day! I love how if either one of them gets a bad idea it always seems like a great idea to the other twin. Lots of creative messes! There is no sibling tattling “I’m gonna tell Mom”. It’s teamwork at its’ best.” Sandy M. “The pride. The confidence, the strength of knowing I’m doing this when I definitely thought I couldn’t. The love I have for all my children for making me as strong as I am today.” Jamie F. “The giggles, I love listening to my 3yo boys laughing together as they play and just listening to their conversations and how they speak to one another. So caring towards the other twin. A bond I will never truly understand but I love watching it flourish.” Amy M. “Seeing them love each other and take care of each other. One of my twins has a heart defect and Cerebral Palsy and her sister takes care of her and worries about her all the time.” Heather V. “Cuddles and giggles! There is just so much love that they have and so many giggles that it’s 100% my favorite part. When they giggle in sync it’s even better! Also seeing their twin bond and love for each other. One twin coughs and the other asks if she’s ok. If one falls, the other usually helps her up or gives kisses and hugs. It’s not sweetness all the time, but when it is it’s pure adorableness” Jessica Q. “Their unique bond. They fight like all siblings but are connected in ways singletons just don’t have. Even though they are adults they still look out for each other and are empathetic towards one another.” Shawnna B. “When they fight, it’s hard. So while I’m giving everybody a few minutes to pop on and to join us because we’re going to talk a lot. And it’s not only gonna be about babies. It’s gonna be about toddlers. It’s gonna be about school-age kids. So even though you might have some babies now they will eventually grow up and dining out is definitely a good way to spend some family time. But I am a giant fan and so much of a fan that I took out some of the stuff that I’m still using pretty much I think at least twice a week. In our house we’ve been using these ZoLi thermoses. This is the ZoLi dine this is my son’s and he’s been using this I can’t even tell you how long this has been washed more times than you could ever imagine. And it is crazy to me that the logo that is on it is still as flawless as day that we got it. ZoLi is on with us today which was is really even more exciting so forgive my shininess. The funny part is it’s actually makeup that’s the crazy part of this so I’m sorry for my crazy shininess despite the fact that it’s 80 something degrees in our apartment. But yeah the ZoLi Pow Dine is my son’s favorite. And then my daughter’s favorite and correct me ZoLi if I’m wrong, this is called the Sumo. So the sumo is kind of like the Toki dine except that it is a two-part thermos. We’re sadly not giving any of these away today although ZoLi you’re on maybe you want to. But my daughter loves to have soup. But she’s a little unusual in the fact that she likes to have her soup portion like the liquid separate from the chunky portion. So that is how we use this. We actually she has soup every once a week from lunch. She always has soup. So we put the chunky pieces in the bottom the soup part in the top and then she pours it in it’s not even like that a flavor thing. She doesn’t like when stuff gets soggy so when you’re making… It’s this and that.Thanks ZoLi. So when you’re like if you’re making like a noodle soup you know when the noodles are sitting in the soup they get ridiculously soggy. This is the way to not have them soggy. So you just pull them out of the soup once they’re cooked put them in the top portion put the broth in the bottom portion and it all connects together. And then has this lid and it always stays warm. So this is the This and That that I have been love with these are from my own personal collection. We have used many of the water bottles as well but I think as the kids get bigger that they’re a little on the smaller side right? So they’re really perfect for toddlers and even young kids but by the age of 13 they’re looking for like the giant water bottles. So today we’re gonna talk a lot about different tips and I would love if you guys would participate too cuz I get very excited and I want to know first of all how old are your twinnies. 15 Necessary Items for Glamping

Ok, I admit we used to be a road trip and camping family…then twins! Since the fellas arrival we have not even pondered getting our tent out and truly roughing it, don’t we have enough of a mess when there are twins involved? We have settled on road tripping and cabin glamping in the woods, or even a visit to a lake house. But as we settle into a groove at the lake in a small town we have found some amazing products that we not only get compliments on everywhere we go, but have made our lives sooooo much easier! You do not have to go all crazy with gear that does not pack well in our family mobile, but some simple things that go a long way. 1. My Little Seat Infant Seats – We go to a very small town that has approximately 1 high chair in each establishment. If we visit friends, forget about it. We would normally have to sit the twinnies on our lap for meal time. The My Little Infant Seat folds up into its own pouch and folds flat, if you can fold something well. Either way its mushy and fabric and goes EVERYWHERE! My twins are super secure with an actual 5 point harness and can’t wiggle out like they do in standard highchairs and can be used until they are 35 pounds. Feel confident in having meals out. 2. Summer Infant Pop N’ Sit Booster – For the times when you are actually sitting by the campfire in your own camp chair this is perfect! A lightweight chair with a 3 point harness and dishwasher safe tray. Of course, it has its own carry bag and you can even strap it to a chair to make it a proper booster. 3. Lotus Travel Crib and Portable Baby Playard – This crib/play yard set up in 15 seconds. You take it out of its supplied backpack and unfold it. Voila, you have a crib. There’s more! Lotus has a fun zipped side door to turn the whole thing into a fun play yard that they can crawl in and out of. So great! You would need to buy the Lotus Family sheets that are plush and quilted but my twinnies have no problems sleeping through the night in this crib. 4. BABYBJORN Travel Crib Light – Another travel crib option that folds up into its provided briefcase styled carrying case. The BabyBjorn is JPMA certified and is so comfy for baby to sleep in. You will be very happy with this option. Organic fitted sheets sold separately. 5. Fisher-Price On-The-Go Baby Dome – My twinnies were only 7 months old when we took them to the lake last year and this was our go-to gear. With mesh sides, removable toys and a full canopy dome they slept in them, napped in them, hung out in them and just had fun. We loved all of the sun and mosquito protection this provided. It folds up so easily and stores flat for packing. 6. Summer Infant Pop N’ Play Portable Playard – If you need an out and about separate playard, this is the one to get. As you can see Summer Infant has a whole line of Pop N’ items from the playard, to the booster, an activity seat and even a high chair to make your glamping and lake travel super safe and fun. The bottom is waterproof and with a full canopy. You can feel good about keeping your twinnies skin protected all while in a mesh-sided playard. 7. Coleman Illumi-Bug 45 Youth Sleeping Bag – When the twinnies are a bit older they may want to sleep on the floor or under the stars for a more realistic camping experience. From the trusted outdoor brand Coleman comes a glow in the dark sleeping bag with a flashlight hole that keeps a kiddo warm down to 45 degrees Fahrenheit. This can accommodate a person up to 5’5” and has thermotech insulation and a comfort cuff at the top so they can pull the top up to their face.
